Monday Meditation Club

Why the Monday Meditation Club?

The Monday Meditation Club is the opportunity to prioritize your self-care and mindfulness by incorporating meditation into your Monday routine.

At Women’s Empowered Health Solutions we believe that our experience of the outside world is a reflection of our ‘inner’ state of being. By cultivating a sense of peace and clarity within the body-mind complex, we start to see and experience that peace and clarity playing out in our daily lives.

Many statistics show that neglecting self-care leads to repercussions in our health and wellbeing  - mentally, physically, and spiritually.

By not prioritizing the rest and rejuvenation of the mind, the brain gets overworked and has shown to increase inflammation in the amygdala and thinning of the prefrontal cortex. Causing lack of focus, decreased problem solving skills, and an increase in anxiety, and chronic stress.

According to the American Psychological Association, chronic stress is linked to six leading causes of death including heart disease, cancer, lung ailments, accidents, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide.

  • Take Back Your Health

Stress can cause you to become negatively influenced in your attitudes and feelings about yourself and others more easily. Medical research estimates as much as 90 percent of illness and disease is stress-related.

  • Change Your Habits

Disempowering habits and addictions, from poor sleep habits to drinking alcohol and consuming convenient, fat and sugar laden foods can have long term effects on the health and lead to chronic illness.

  • “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”

    ~ Wayne Dyer

  • “Learn to be calm and you will always be happy.”

    ~ Pramahansa Yogananda

  • “I meditate so that my mind cannot complicate my life”

    ~ Sri Chinmoy

  • “Mediation is a vital way to purify and quiet the mind, thus rejuvenating the body”

    ~ Deepak Chopra

  • “When meditation is mastered, the mind is unwavering like the flame of a candle in a windless place”

    ~ Bhagavad Gita

Shifting from Stress to Serenity

Consistent meditation can help lower cortisol levels, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. It can also increase the production of hormones like serotonin and endorphins, which are associated with feelings of happiness and well-being. Through regular practice, you can develop a greater sense of peace of mind, acceptance of the present moment, and mindfulness in your actions.

By prioritizing self-care and incorporating meditation into your daily routine, you can create a space for reflection, introspection, and relaxation. This can lead to a greater sense of balance, resilience, and emotional well-being, helping you navigate the ups and downs of life with a calm and centered mindset.

Join us as we embark on a journey of relaxation and rejuvenation. Allowing yourself the time and space to center your mind and nourish your soul. By dedicating just a small portion of your day to meditation, you can enhance your mental well-being, reduce stress, and improve your overall outlook on life.

Imagine a life where you get to choose how you want to experience your day to day. Feeling calm, centered, focused and confident that you can handle whatever comes your way with grace and discernment.
